I Like It Rough has won the Best Action Comedy award at the Urban Action Showcase Film Festival in New York. Not one, but two of Natasja's films got screened at the biggest action film festival worldwide.
I Like It Rough and Office Offence are written and directed by 24-year-old Natasja Schaafsma, who also plays the lead role in both productions. Office Offence revolves around a colleague who consistently eats other people's lunches, while I Like It Rough depicts a date where both parties have different ideas about what 'rough' means.
Schaafsma's films were shot in Dublin, Ireland, where the Amsterdam-based actor, stunt actor, writer and director lived for two years.
She collaborated with individuals from various corners of the film industry in both Ireland and the Netherlands.
